Initial Site Audit
This is normally a 1-day site visit with two aims; [1] To meet those responsible for environmental issues / management, and, [2] To conduct a site-specific environmental audit that will help to establish the environmental issues that would need to be ‘managed’ as part of a formal EMS’. Staff awareness can be canvassed during this audit and the output of the day should be a clear understanding of what training is required to meet the environmental objectives that a business has.

Executive Briefing
A 1-day [can be condensed if desired] interactive discussion with company executives and senior management, whose involvement and decision-making is of fundamental importance in working towards either an accredited EMS’, or to improving the site’s environmental performance. This session will outline the results from the ‘Initial Site Audit’ [where applicable] and enable management to have a clear understanding of the task in hand. Morpheus Environmental Training recommends that this particular training session is not overlooked, as most senior managers will be required to have a working knowledge of ‘ISO 14001’ or of general environmental awareness principles and the legislative background.

ISO 14001 Practical Workshop
A 2-day external course for those individuals charged with responsibility for implementation of an ‘EMS’, these people are typically from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines and the aim of this course is to explain how an ‘EMS’ works, explain the various component parts of ISO 14001, the legislative framework that underpins an ‘EMS’, and allows participants to determine what part they need to play for their respective function. The course will explain clearly how an ‘EMS’ can be put together, and will highlight what an accreditation body will require in order to formally grant an ISO 14001 certificate. This course has the benefit of extensive practical knowledge and experience that attendee’s will find invaluable, and ultimately time-saving for their business.

Environmental Auditing
A 2-day internal or external course for individuals responsible for auditing environmental performance, or for auditing an accredited ‘EMS’ to ‘ISO 14001’ standards. The course will demonstrate the legislative background to environmental management as well as highlight new and emerging environmental legislation. It will show how a business should track legislative issues, and how knowledge of existing and forthcoming legislation - plus the feedback from regular internal audits will help a business to decide on their environmental objectives and targets. This course has the benefit of considerable practical knowledge gained from many years of environmental auditing in industry, and offers both anecdotal and practical advice to attendee’s. We also offer a 1-day internal EMS auditor course, suitable for those persons charged with conducting internal EMS’ audits, but who have existing QMS / auditing experience.

Introduction to Environmental Management
A 1- day session designed to give small / medium sized businesses a complete overview of environmental management, including how to start a management system, understanding the law, carbon offsetting, global warming, minimising environmental impacts, waste minimisation, green transport and other ‘topical’ issues that now confront us on a daily basis.  This course can include a brief site audit when conducted in-house. An ideal course for those seeking to implement [for example] ISO 14001

Employee Awareness Training
A 1-day interactive training course designed to provide an overview of environmental issues for the employees of businesses wishing to implement an environmental management system / ISO 14001.  Normally held at the business base and designed to cater for large employee groups from all backgrounds

A 1-day session dealing with the issue of Global Warming and Climate Change. We look at why this phenomenon has occurred, and how industry can lead the necessary changes to help reverse this disturbing trend. This will appeal to anyone who ultimately has responsibility for effecting environmental policy and change within their business.

Price Band ‘A'– 2 DAY training courses are £399.00 ‘in-house', with no delegate limit; or £499.00 per person at one of our training centres. For external courses the cost is reduced for additional delegates, with a 50% reduction to £249.00. The external course prices include unlimited drinks, snacks, and lunch – but not accommodation.

Price Band ‘B' – 1 DAY training courses are £250.00 ‘in-house’, with no delegate limit; or £349.00 per person at one of our training centres. For external courses the cost is reduced for additional delegates, with a 50% reduction to £175.00. The external course prices include unlimited drinks, snacks, and lunch – but not accommodation.

Price Band ‘C’– 1 DAY training courses are £299.00 and are 'in-house' [held at the clients premises]. There is a maximum group size of 20 for this training.

We also offer half-day on site training sessions for those businesses looking for a basic introduction to environmental management. A half-day course is pro-rata at £135.00
